It's labelled: vals (navn ukjent) - which I take it is "Waltz, name unknown" in one of the Scandinavian languages. (From this YouTube reference, incidentally, a lot of Scandinavian tunes and playing can be explored.) But is this actually a Phil Cunningham tune? It certainly seems to me to be in his style, or in a Scottish style anyway. Please enlighten me, any initiates out there.

Nice tune by the way, and to my reckoning more of a 'pols' than a 'vals'... In other words, that family of dance rhythms that include the likes of mazurkas and hambos... No, I haven't yet had a chance to check things. My wife laid a slew of work on me that needs to be done for tomorrow. Most of that is now done. So, back to that and a lovely golden wine ~ mmmmm!!!

Thanks fo a lovely fiddler here, well, at least his fiddling is appreciated ~ Phil Keen, who had the wit to follow the comments to the next page... So, I'm feeling worse than "DUH!" today... It has been a screwy couple of months and now I've misplaced cables I desperately need for some of the work I'm doing... I've lost my Tascam transformer/power lead... (that should be a crying smiley but alas we have limitations here ~ no violence and no melodrama...)
If you can't manage the translation, or someone else, I'll add it later. It's really quite 'sweet'...
