Wedding In Poland

Wedding In Poland

Hi all, I am getting married in Poland, July 2009. I would like to have some Irish music at the wedding - can anyone help me find an Irish/Polish band based in Poland who could play at the wedding. Ideally the band could play both traditional Irish and Polish type music.

Re: Wedding In Poland

There are a number of Polish members on site here, as well as Irish living in Poland... It looks like aid has already come. Best of luck with the festivities...

There are some great luthiers in that lovely country, and some great tonewoods available too ~ in case that interests you... A friend had his favourite fiddle made for him there...

Re: Wedding In Poland

hey Barry
I'm getting married in Poland in June 2009 ;-)
send me a message with you e-mail address
I'll try to send you few contacts to polish bands playing Irish music,
but to tell the truth you'll have a huge problem if you want them to play both.
not to mention that most of the good ones may not take a job like that.

Re: Wedding In Poland

Padre, I hope you are not trying to go cheap on your wedding reception by gatecrashing BarryD's party with Marta and the rest of the team?

Knowing you I could expect that...
