It promised to be the night of a lifetime last Thursday night, with (Dr) Lunny, Andy Irvine, Liam Ó Floinn and Paddy Glackin in Dún Lúiche, Donegal, as part of the Errigal Arts Festival.
It was part of a series of three concerts celebrating Dónal's music.
Unfortunately, the little matter of work interfered with my own wish to be there, so I couldn't travel up.
Wondering if any of you managed to get there? How was it?
Afraid I couldn't make it either but I'm going to see Toumani Diabate & Liam O’Maonlai tomorrow night in Letterkenny as part of the same festival. Should be a fabulous show. Don't suppose anyone here will want to know how it went, world renowned kora player from Mali and yer man from Hothouse Flowers, nah, thought not!

I was there! It was a quality gig, really entertaining. I could've stayed there all night with them playing!
