Oh I was more thinking of going for the fleadh to support some friends & then hanging around Ireland the following week... just curious about the teachers.... will probably stick with the second week.... thanks though.
Micheál Ó Raghallaigh does the concertina class most years while Danny O Mahoney does box classes. Antán Ó Farachain from Dublin takes sean-nós singing classes while pipes are usually taken by Brian McNamara. There's no guarantee that these tutors will be there in 2009 but if previous years are anything to go by there's a high probability they will. In any case quite apart from classes, the Eigse week is well worth attending for all the nightly sessions around the town.

I'm going--but unless it's changed, you don't really find out teachers until you get to class. What instrument are you going for?

Oooh, sounds like fun! Probably a wise decision on your part, staying on your own schedule. Eamonn Cotter and Louise Mulcahy were tutors last year...
