Thanks for the info. I also met Paul in the 1970's and recorded him. He sold me one of the beautiful flutes he restored which I still play.
Little did we both know then but it wouldn't be only playing jigs and reels but was played in church for 17 years. Who knows what other history that 19th century flute had experienced in its life?
