Sharon Shannon jig... name ?

Sharon Shannon jig... name ?

What's the name of this jig, which is the second tune on track 11 of the UPSIDE DOWN album.

I have written it in G, because that's what I got used to playing it in. Sharon plays it in E, which goes way too high for me ( and most I suspect). Anyway here it is, beautiful, ornate jig -

Re: Sharon Shannon jig... name ?

Sorry, I can't help you ~ but thought I'd at least let you know someone gave it a try, and once was enough. It is obviously a composition, and a 'peculiar' one, whatever the source, or whoever... Much of it read and play like an exercise / etude... :-/

It's "A Sore Point". Also on Libertango Track 11 and Live at Dolan's Disc 1 Track 12 in the Burst Mattress set - Amy's Waltz / An Tunnag / A Sore Point. Don't have the albums, so can't tell you who wrote it.
