I'm going to Ankara, Turkey in the first week of September, and I was wondering whether anyone knew of anybody playing folk/trad. music there that might be interested in coming together for a wee jam at some point during that week.
The site has no sessions listed, and I've only been able to find two members from Turkey (whom have or will be contacted directly, of course), but I'm still hoping somebody knows someone.

You could always check to see if there's any Galatian music around, and see if it resembles Irish or other so-called Celtic musics:

Won't be there, and I don't think the Turks are fond of anything but their own type of music....don't like ITM
