hich tune would be good 4 recall in the fleadgh a hornpipe a reel or a jig?????????

I have a feeling its compulsary to play a reel, but I could be wrong.

I've only ever heard reels played. But in Cork or Kerry, polkas might suffice :-P

I've been 'recalled' many times,and on most occasions i have been asked to play a reel.

thanks but only yesterday my friend in the fleadgh i didnt make it though was recalled she was asked to play a JIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
