I put up a thread a week or so ago about Yellowboarders meeting one and other at the Fleadh in Ennis and was now beginning to think I was the only one there - well that was until today when I met Cathy Cook at the gig-rig. Sorry Cathy we didn't have more time to chat as I was trying to get some musicians together and you were rushing off to a session.
I appreciate that people are probably too busy playing (and rightfully so) for introductions but maybe some of us might make the effort at the final session in the Queens on Monday morning. In the absence of a secret handshake maybe we can use "Jeremy" as a password!
It's a long long way from Ennistymon on a gym morning.... have fun.
Another year without the Fleadh. Can't beat the lovely small local sessions though....
Bannerman,
Nice to meet you outside the yellow board however briefly, I'm afraid I won't be around for the final session tomorrow, I'm already back home in Ballydehob, due to other commitments. I enjoyed what I saw of the Fleadh nua (the first time I've been despite living in Ireland for years), and found one or two good sessions, although it seemed for a lot of people yesterday the rugby was more important! Hopefully I'll meet up with you again some time,
Cathy
