Mike McGoldrick's tour dates - the best kept secret?

Mike McGoldrick's tour dates - the best kept secret?

Hello,
Does anyone know where to find Mike Mcgoldricks current tour dates, if there are any? I've been trying to track down this elusive genius for ages now and all I've got so far are fantastic youtube clips of his gigs here and there, which apparently go unannounced. I'm beginning to think you need to be member of some secret society to get the chance to see and hear him live...

Well the Big Band only make a hanfull of appearances each year, such as celtic connections and some other big spots, mcgoldrick is on a current tour of ireland with rennegade, ie shannon murray donnelly, you will find those dates on sharon shannons page, he also did a few duo dates last month with john doyle in ireland, and some gigs with moonshine i think their called? dermot byrne, ciaran tourish, jon joe kelly and doyle. just keep an eye out for posters and programmes at descent venues near you. he has no website, you will find the dates online sometimes tho.

The band S. Doherty mentions is called "Moonlighting" (because it's a departure from their day jobs). Might google "moonlighting tourish" to catch any news about their appearances--seems like they were staying mostly on the Euro side of the Pond.

SD:
"and programmes at descent venues near you"
That'd be some kind of dive then?
