Hello all...Anybody out there got any news on the Armagh fleadh to be held in Lurgan on the 7-8th of June? I have tried emailing the email contact that is on the fleadh website but have no response..I have booked into hotel and took time off work and worried I will head to Lurgan and no fleadh on at all!? Help?!
The Fleadh dates for the Armagh fleadh in Lurgan are Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June.
There will be an opening ceremony on the Friday in St Peter's Parochial Hall, North Street at 7:30pm with guest speaker, music and dance. This will be followed by a seisiun in Reid's Bar, Edward St kicking off at around 9:30pm.
On the Saturday, competitions kick off at around 10.00am in St Mary's Junior High School. These will be followed by an afternoon seisiun in The Ceili House, Church Place. An evening seisiun will also be taking place in Kane's Bar, Derrymacash at around 9.00pm.
