This seems to be the A-part of one tune and the B-part of another. I'm off and away for a spell, but if nobody adds the t'other I'll dig it up later and place it here. I think you're starting to give the proper B-part for this A, and then slip into the other well known part from "O'Keeffe's"...
B part is from O'Keefe's, as Ramiro and ceolachan said; A part is from Paddy McFadden's http://www.qmcorp.net/webabc/bigfolder/cre1.abc (do a page search on the title, it's way down), which I think of as a poor man's O'Keefe's; I can't play the two within half an hour of one another, in any event, and this conflagration you posted certainly isn't going to help matters any
That's the one... Just back. I didn't have a name for it... I'm also missing my first three copies ofBreathnach's Ceol Rince, which are in the hands of a friend...
I, like you TDM, couldn't shake that second part to get to the one I knew went with it. I had scribbled down the first part to come back to once I was back inside the house, to pull out the proper B-part. Thanks for making it easier for me...
