hi guys, im looking for a piano accordion with a tuning as close as i can get to a castagnari 2row box . is ther such an accordion!? can anyone help me on this ? cheers.
Castagnari two-row boxes can have one, two, three or four reeds and boxes with more than one reed can be tuned dry, demi-swing, swing or "wet." You'll need to be more specific when you consult with an accordion shop.
True, but do find a recorded example of the particular castagnari you like. Sharon Shannons one? and then find out if it's a 1234 voice. I'd somehow imagine that it's a 1,2, voice but could be entirely wrong on that....
