I have a lovely guitar that was made for me by Australian luthier Dan Dubowski. Beautiful instrument and Dan is a wonderful person to deal with. His website and email have been down for some time and I'm a bit concerned. Does anyone know Dan or have some information on him?
Dan had an encounter with a router and chopped a couple of fingers soon thereafter he became a father.
He has returned to his day job on the advice of his bank manager and is battling through a backlog of orders when I last spoke to him. I could find him fairly easily if you want to make contact. cheers, john.

Many thanks to everyone! I've received another message regarding Dan and it sounds like Dan is doing well (except for the fingers or course....hope it was nothing permanent). If anyone is in touch with Dan tell him that Jim from the states says "Hi", and that the Tassie is doing well and receiving much-deserved praise! I imagine the backlog is quite extensive and it will be a relief when he is able to get back into the swing of building.
