Singing Chicken

Is anyone familiar with Singingchicken.co.uk? It's a website that sells musical instruments at a discount. The website gives an address in Weymouth, Dorset, UK. Thanks in advance for any response.

Re: Singing Chicken

Yep, I bought an Ashbury Octave Mandola through them, and although it took a while to arrive (because the suppliers Hobgoblin were waiting for new stock) my dealings with Singing Chicken were fine.

I had to ring them at one stage after waiting for a reply to an email and I got the impression that its a one man enterprise and that he has to juggle family commitments with running the business but I was well happy with the instrument and the price I payed.

Re: Singing Chicken

Which came first, the singing chicken or the shakey egg?

Re: Singing Chicken

I bought a carbon fibre bow from them about 3 years ago, and there were no problems. Ring up and speak to a real person though.

Re: Singing Chicken

Thanks to all for the input.
I got a quick reply to my email. Singing Chicken's price for a Dinn lll is great, but after conversion to the USDollar, plus shipping, plus import duty, US prices for the Dinn lll aren't that much different.
