these are 2 tunes i've picked up without no names of course!
If anyone has the names of them I would really appreciate if they passed them onto me thanks!
First one is a slide: a d fed f- a a-
Slip jig: f ab fab afd fab f a b d'-
The slip jig sounds like a version of one played by Matt Molloy on his album "Heathery Breeze", which he called The Fisherman's Jig. If you look up this tune on the Molloy album in the Recordings section, you can get to it in the Tunes section - but you may find the tune there has a different name, or is even another tune!
names of tunes help would be appreciated

The slip jig is not the Fisherman's Jig, but a very similar tune called the Whinney Hills of Leitrim http://www.thesession.org/tunes/display/1064
