A valuable violin was inadvertently left sitting on a waste bin in Toronto last week was picked up by a bag lady. The owner posted a $1000 reward and someone spotted it in the bag lady's shopping cart. He bought it from her for $35 and claimed the reward, The owner did not say what the value was but that it was an heirloom passed on through his family and he was a member of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra so the monetary value was probably considerable
