Transatlantic sessions

Transatlantic sessions

Just caught the one this evening on BBC4 - which started with St Anne's Reel; but what was the tune they finished the programme with ? SO had the A part down, but couldn't quite get the B....
And why do they usually put them out at such goddam awful times - half the time I see them listed for the small hours ?

"Shove that Pig's Foot a Little Further in the Fire". I just viewed it on the archives.

Ta, muchly. I shall now take the dots downstairs, and be told "That's not quite how they played it." !

Re: Transatlantic sessions

Best played cross tuned (GDgd) or in cross tuned A (AEae), at least that's how I've usually heard it played at Old Time jams.
