Looking for a bouzar, guizouki, dordan etc.....

Hi all!

I'm in the proces of hunting down an instrument like this: http://www.maartinallcock.com/bouzar.htm - with the intention to buy.

But I'm trying to establish an overwiev of the market before I make my move

Moon Guitars make a similar instrument - they call it a Bazar - http://www.moonguitars.co.uk.

Nigel Forster might be worth contacting too. He doesn't mention anything like this on his website, but given is training with Sobell I'm sure he'd be able to make one! http://www.nkforsterguitars.com/

Dermot Mcilroy makes a hybrid that he calls the "gazooki". Haven't heard one, but it'll be killer if it's anywhere near as good as his guitars.

I can reccomend the Phil Crump instruments - I haven't goy one but I have played several and several USA friends have them and they rave about them.
He is a great guy to work with and the Dollar is in a great position now - his instruments are under-priced at the best of times but now they are a steal!

I could/would reccomend my Cittern maker - Steve Owsley Smith but he has a 5 year waiting list.....

Lawrence Nyberg from Canada make really high quality instruments aswell.
