Families like the Mulligans, the Glackins and others have been giving generously of their time and talents to ITM for decades. When few were to be found to trave north during the grimmest times of the "Troubles" these familes supported music in places like South Armagh, Belfast etc. They supported local and national Charities troughout Dublin and beyond unselfishly. And they helped lay the foundation for the hugh upsurge in ITM over the last four or five decades. Fleadhs, Tionails , session, workshops etc...they always turned out to support.
Now is the time to reciprocate! I cant make the Concert in Dublin on Friday night, but I will arrange to make a small donation of €20. for two tickets. If they want to give some children from low income fmilies a few free tickets, all the better.
If everyone on this Forum who supports their valant endevours in their time of need makes a similar donation, the small contributions could make a huge difference.
