Oh, no, not again!
This time it is a *scientific* method based on statistics and the deep knowledge of the members of the mustard board. I checked how many hits I get when searching for a band's name at the home of thesession.org
The top ten is

Pogues 133
De Denann 356
Flook 358
Solas 422
Danu 506
Dervish 624
Bothy Band 713
Lunasa 754
Altan 825
Chieftains 1050

The method has a few limis:
Planxty gets 1190 points, but most from ' Carolan Tunes and the absolute winner is my own band 'sláinte' who got 2050 for unknown reasons ;-)
Also I did not care about the context, I guess many comments on the band on rank 10 might be negative....

Actually, DeDannan does a lot better if you look for different spellings (DeDannan, DeDanann, DeDannann, De Dannan, etc)

This was inspired by a professor of one of the best Technical Institutes of the world who prooved with google the exponential interest in his very specific area of work.
