Website maps for sessions

Website maps for sessions

......there seems to be a glitch in the maps - the same map seems to appear for almost all the Yorkshire sessions eg

http://www.thesession.org/sessions/display/1324
http://www.thesession.org/sessions/display/209
http://www.thesession.org/sessions/display/460

I don't know if other areas have the same problem

Jeremy??

Re: Website maps for sessions

I think if you can provide a postcode it will go to exactly where you want it. I suspect if it just says "Yorkshire" it will go to the "centre" of Yorkshire, which is where Angram is I guess.

Re: Website maps for sessions

Usually a street address combined with a street is enough to get an accurate map. I'm not sure why Yorkshire is proving to be so troublesome.

Re: White Rose trouble

' I'm not sure why Yorkshire is proving to be so troublesome.'

it all went horribly wrong after they did away the Ridings in the early 1970s.

oh,and before that, when Richard III came to a sticky end at the hands of that very dodgy Welsh usurper on Bosworth field.

Re: Website maps for sessions

It was Ok when I lived there in the late 70s early 80s.....The Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire, they used to call it. Back then David Blunkett was a revolutionary radical hero.

ah yes,i remember the incredibly cheap public transport at that time.

the government of the day did n't like it so they found ways to phase it out.
