I am always on the prowl for decent podcasts of ITM. Of course Clare fm are a regular source of good material and periodically RTE come out with a 'goodie' (although it's not possible as far as I am aware to download it as a podcast). Anyway I scoured the old discussions on here for inspiration and someone suggested http://www.themusicofireland.com/
I went to the site and tried to download one of the programmes without success. It just appeared to hang. This is not the first time I have had problems on this site. Is anyone else experiencing problems?
Also does anyone else have any other good sites they know?
I just discovered a really good Irish site that has podcasts and much more.
www.liveireland.com
I discovered the link whilst looking for ITM using itunes and the radio link. I am currently listening to streaming Irish radio over the net and it looks like a really useful resource for all things Irish.

I've never heard of this site but I was able to download one of the podcasts with no problem. Thanks for site!
I've looked for Trad Irish music on the iTunes podcasts with no luck whatsoever.

Re: ITM Podcasts.
I just downloaded the Feb 10th episode, took about 8 mins. No problems, sounds fine for 48kbps.

Re: ITM Podcasts.
Copperplate Distribution has a podcast on iTunes, but it isn't updated very often. Good traditional music and nice variety.

Don't forget about Clare FM!! (www.clarefm.ie) great stuff and they've fixed their podcast glitch so it works really well.
