The Chieftan whistle is made in the UK by Phil Hardy. The whistles are made from drawn aluminium and come with a hard plastic case, they have been developed to give all the characteristics of a high end handmade whistle.
The instruments available through the Lúnasa site have been specially engraved with the Lúnasa name and all are personally tested by Kevin!

Did you phone them? Melbourne, maybe 4 weeks isn't too much. It wouldn't surprise me if it got held up in customs.
With the fine whistle makers on your bit of rock I hope you are also supporting that local industry too...
I have an order in another name I think must relate to you as the country, item etc is the same. It was placed on the 3rd Jan.
I received an email from a different address to your order and replied to it explaining the delay.
We reply to all our emails and I can assure you it is not a dodgy site!
I will send the email again to the address you gave with the order. I am sorry you felt the need to discuss this on a public forum. There are a few phone numbers on the site including the one specified for orders. If you were truly concerned then maybe a call to us would have assured you we are honest and trustworthy!
If you don't receive the email this time please contact me at info@lunasa.ie.
I don't mind calling you if you would like further reassurance.

Dodgy site!
There are dodgy sites and there are sites such as the lunasa website which has always had loving care lavished upon it! Love Kev's tunes

Re: pipers concern
Many thanks Llanman,
That should encourage him to put more tunes up there and make us all do a little more work on it!
Tracy.
