I haven't got some ABC yet, but my computer's running too slow right now to go to the site... On Michael Burke's website (for the Burke whistles), in the sound clips, there's one of I think it's Jerry O'Sullivan playing a jig on either the B natural or the low F or G whistle, anybody know what the tune is called?
All I found were 2 hornpipes. The 2nd is the Blackbird, I think. I've got no idea what the 1st one is either, but I took a shot at writing it out. Maybe someone will recognize it.

Yeah, those are the same I got, with him playing them on an F whistle... It threw me that Joseph was asking for a jig, which I'm guessing was just the triplets he heard, and the swing ~ both hornpipes played nicely...
Why is it that on this site one can start a discussion asking "What tune is this?" and then have the tune posted by someone -- but it's forbidden to start a discussion saying "I'm looking for tune X"?
Any idea what jig this is?

Yeah, Horse Keane's is what it is... I'm not sure what made me think it was a jig... I haven't been to the site for awhile. Thanks everybody!

Seems arbitrary and weird to me.
Cheers,
