Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England? Did you check out the 'sessions' area of this website to see if there was anything nearby? You might then send an email to anyone in the 'outskirts' and see if you can drum up interest.
There must be a number of us that are from West Yorkshire, but I don't know of any other way to know where people are from, except that map that was recently pulled together. I thought it had been added here on site somewhere but have done some searching and can't find it now. I'll ask someone and hopefully they'll post a link here...
Yes, thanks Pete, that's it, but now I'm feeling bad for fozzysam as there's nobody listed in his neck of the woods at all, not even himself, and only one person listed up North of there in Newcastle...

I realise this is not exactly what you're looking for but you may meet people there who know what's going on in the area. Otherwise you could ask Leeds people. There used to be a very good occasional Sunday afternoon session in Dewsbury but I am going back a few years there! I am a bit nearer than Newcastle (Haworth) but don't have a car so can't travel that far in the evening.
