i like them. but i like a lot of musical genres, and i would classify them as a jazzy/swingy/bluesy non-itm genre with a splash of itm flavor here and there. that stuff is being done all over europe by some amazingly talented people who are using their country's trad as a jumping-off point for all kinds of fusion-y experiments. another example is niall vallely's "Buille" project. i think it's great. i just think it is "itm-flavored" as opposed to itm. i also love the finnish accordion maestra maria kalaniemi, who incorporates finnish traditional music into her stuff, and the belgiam accordion wizard richard galliano, who flavors his unbelievable jazz compositions with paris musette and argentine tango....

No doubt about it that is a great set!
I love when the two boxes just go in harmony on their own.
Not to everyone's taste, and they can even go to the outer limits of my tolerance, but you have to say they are a class act.
Great fellas too.

A bodhran solo? Why? Is there a point to it?

Re: Lovely playing by Beoga
I second that comment Mr Bliss, I dont see the point to Bodhran solos at all!

Just enjoy the music. Some things, like humour and music, are often destroyed by analysis.
What a great clip also.
Happy Christmas to all.
