16" tuneable bodhran for sale (handmade by Roddy Turner)

I'm selling my 16" handmade by Roddy Turner tuneable bodhran due to personal circumstances.
It is less than 12 months old, in excellent hardly used condition and comes complete with a deluxe gig bag and selection of beaters.

which do players prefer tuneable v non tuneable ?

personally i've never fancied the tuneable ones, though i don't really know why, there's just something about them that doesn't agree with me.

I used to agree with you, but about two years ago I had a tuning mechanism fitted to my bodhran when it was being "serviced". It does keep the skin at perfect pitch 95% of the time, and no more heating the skin and all that.
