Stolen Fiddle

Stolen Fiddle

A fiddle belonging to a friend of mine was stolen tonight from Donaghbate train station, Dublin. It is distinguishable by having a full back, which means that it has no line down the middle of the fildde back... it is possibly italian and is most recognisable by the presence of an LR Baggs pick up which is built into the bridge.

I'm informed that there is a reward offered and if anyone has any information, email me and i will have Tracy call you as soon as she can.

Many thanks for all information recieved,

Martin Tourish.

Re: Stolen Fiddle

It probably wouldn't hurt to post this here too:

I hope she gets it back!

Re: Stolen Fiddle

Might want to register it here too:

It's costs a little money, but I'd sure do it if it were me. If the instrument makes its way to reputable dealer, there's a chance that the dealer will check that registry.

There's also here:

But the link isn't working...couldn't hurt to send an email though and see what's up.

Good luck to your friend!

Re: Stolen Fiddle

Probably will appear in Buy&Sell or similar - I'd monitor them for a while. Most likely to be opportunistic thieving and they'll be trying to flog it off somewhere in the small ads.
