Irish set on "Duo" by Peter Ostroushko

Irish set on "Duo" by Peter Ostroushko

Does anyone know if the tunes in this set are really Irish tunes or something he made up that sounds "Irish"? Particularly one of the jigs is a nice smooth tune and if you leave out the accidental sounds like it might be a trad tune.

You're maybe thinking of another album, dafydd. Ostroushko certainly didn't compose all of the tracks. For example, "When You and I Were Young, Maggie" predates him by quite a bit. However, the jigs justjim was asking about were his compositions: collectively known as the Edinburgh Jigs, they consist of "Sarah Breaky's House", "The London Road", "Clive Palmer's" and "The Easter Road".
