John Sheehan wrote this as a waltz, not a song. However, no reason why we can't write some words for the air ourselves. Anyone fancy contributing a verse?
Oh come all ye boys of high degree
With nought better to do than listen to me
I'll sing of a tune not played on a spoon
And in any key other than G
the marino waltz
the marino waltz
hello. does anybody have a website where i can find the lyrics to the marino waltz?

I don't think there are any lyrics to the marino waltz.
Anyway, this might be a good place to find song lyrics:

Re: the marino waltz
there are words to this tune.
originally the tune was done as an advert for Bord Na Mona-the Irish Turf Board-
I am sure that the Dubliners have words for this tune-they may be choice

Re: the marino waltz
I have the book from last years "40 years" tour. The music for the Marino Waltz is in it but no lyrics?
