Name that tune....

Anyone know what this tune is called? I learnt it many, many years ago from a housemate - and its probably gone well wrong since!

Yes, I think you've got here the two slides 'Patsy Geary's' and Coleman's Cross' but in the wrong keys (down a fifth on what they should be). So you have the second part of PG's as the first part here and then the first part of C'sC as your second part.

Funny how tunes haunt you down the mists of time! These were on the divine first Bothy Band album and so your soul may have been imprinted with without your knowing...

..thanks all. My housemate was a great Bothy's fan so that's almost certainly where they came from back in the heady days of '75. Anyway, it was enough to inpsire mew to rouse out my old vinyl collection and - yes, indeed - we do have variant bits of both the tunes in that set. I can't remember ever learning the full tunes of either, though, so that's something I better set to work on.
