Alternate/Creative Tune Titles -- Ideas?

Alternate/Creative Tune Titles -- Ideas?

Hope this isn't too irreverent, but we really got ourselves falling about last week when we started in with alternate tune titles. The best I can recall were "The Festering Carbuncle" (paired, of course, with "Pull The Knife and Stick It Again") and "The Doddering Coot." And then of course there are the ones that .... well, this is a family website.

Anyway, just wondered if y'all had some favorites to share. It seemed like a fun way to waste a little time .... :-)

I think this topic has probably been completely done to death on previous threads. But for your listening pleasure, just this once...
The Nine Points Of Buggery
(Topically) Merrily Kick The Fakir
The Monaghan Twit
Carol Anne's Farewell
The Bird With The Bush

For a slightly different take on this, check out the Rants and Raves section of Pay The Reckoning where there are literally hundreds of titles for (as yet) non-existent tunes, culled in some cases from the unlikeliest of sources.

Oops. Shoulda known this was well-trodden territory. But thanks! Those are great. And meanwhile, let's not forget "'Off She Gets'" and "Bucks of More and More" ..... okay, I'll go away now.

Didn't we have this discussion but a few weeks/months ago? In which case my fave was The Kid on the Mountain Bike.
Also we had some hauling out tunes for a gay session - also very irreverent, but judging from gay people I've met, they'd be the first to laugh at these.

Thanks for the links, Aidan & Danny! (since I haven't yet mastered the new tune for this week's session, maybe I can put up a smokescreen with jokes)

Re: Charlie is my darling

Couldn't resist having a peek at the gay session thread - funny no one mentioned "Cock of the North" or the "Black Cock of Wickham".

Re: Alternate/Creative Tune Titles -- Ideas?

I did say the cock of the north, geoff - the penultimate one on the 1st list!
