Problem with O Briain whistle, how to fix or find him

Problem with O Briain whistle, how to fix or find him

I bought two of Cillian O Briain's improved feadogs a few years ago on shannaquay (God rest it) and now have no way to get in touch with him. I love the sound of my D but I have a big crack in the mouthpiece which has ruined the sound. Is there anyway I could get it fixed by someone else? Can he be contacted? Any tips would be great. I am no good at fixing things myself, you should see the state of my wooden flute.

I'm back and forth between Canada and Dublin. Actually in Dublin with the injured whistle this week.
thanks,
emma

and yes I have posted this on the board at chiffandfipple too..

Last I saw Cillian he was making pipes in Dingle. As far as I know that is where he is still living.

I always thought you were mighty craic beanbuille but that's taking it to another level altogether now. We were thinking we might see you this summer ?

howye Pat, I'm going out for a drink tomorrow night with SalGal so we'll toast you all. I'm in Dublin for a bit. I might be coming to TO in the next few months for some work and will definitely look you up.

musical soul - I haven't found these whistles sharp, just the right feeling for me.

Enigma, thanks. I'll try that number.
