ITMusicians and eating disorders??

ITMusicians and eating disorders??

I got this email from Amazon

'We've noticed that customers who have purchased or rated books by Matt Cranitch have also purchased Overcoming Bulimia and Binge-eating Self-help Course (Self Help Course) by Peter Cooper. For this reason, you might like to know that Overcoming Bulimia and Binge-eating Self-help Course (Self Help Course) will be released on 1 October 2007. You can pre-order yours for just £7.00 by following the link below.'

Or perhaps could it be a different Pete Cooper?

Re: ITMusicians and eating disorders??

Pete Cooper also has a good book about playing the fiddle - someone will come up with a link to this, no doubt.

Re: ITMusicians and eating disorders??

Is it a sad day when a thread about Pete Cooper's alleged eating disorder affiliation is the most interesting thing on here?

To help with my weight problem, I took up the Thin Whistle and the Mando-lean.

Re: ITMusicians and eating disorders??

Whistle players can't eat, otherwise they get overwhelmed with saliva. Being near other people eating or smelling food also affects me.

Re: ITMusicians and eating disorders??

My dad told me that eating a lemon in front of a singer will stop them from singing due to the drying up of the mouth. One to remember next time someone starts singing a ballad as soon as the tunes finish! Never tried it but...
