Everyone here in Baltimore is absolutely THRILLED & the guest list includes musicians from all over the States & Ireland. Should be a wonderful 3 day party to celebrate their wedding!! Three cheers for Laura & Pat!!! :D
Even though I 2nd yaalhouse's feeling of the Institution ("Institutions are for Inmates") congrats! A flautist and a guitarist, insert corny 'making beautiful music together' joke...about 400 times this weekend, I'm sure.
Wow, weddings in the US is a BIG thing. Checked the Nurse Tv and your tune book. You are rather busy, great. I love it. I do not know Pat and Laura but it must be nice to share a common interest for trad music.
Patrick Egan and Tim Britton played at a San Francisco session I was at a few years ago (at Wild Oscar's, sadly discontinued) he's an amazing musician - best wishes to them!
Pat is a singer and guitarist from Tipperary who plays with Chulrua (Paddy O'Brien and Patrick Ourceau, and formerly Tim Britton). Laura is an Irish flute player from Baltimore.
I've been away for a week and just getting back to you now, so thankyou Gary. Any info about traditional Irish music and those who play it, is always welcome.
