Indeed CPT well done.I love the bit near the end were hes playing that old yellow accordion on the stage.Shearing the sheep and the Musical Preist.Good and Lively.
Sweet ~ that settled an upset stomach, energized a weary spirit, cleared a foggy headache and took my mind completely off the fact that I'm suffering some bug this week. What was that final tune? Thank you kindly dinn...much appreciated...
I love his album "Give us Another." I must listen to it more since I'm in the "Joe Derrane mood" again and, Felix Dolan is on it (hence my thread about piano accompaniment).
I will never forget going to a St. Patrick's Day concert in Burlington,VT almost 10 years ago. The opening act was Joe Derrane and I confess I'd not ever heard of him. He absolutely stole the show with his playing.!The audience was stunned by his virtuosity and loved his gracious, humble stage presence. I don't remember the main act but have been a fan of Joe Derrane's ever since. Loved watching this program!

Thanks for that! I play a number of tunes learned from friends of Joe, and have long been a fan of his music--so full of lift. Well done program!
