Which John Egan's it this? On Mulcahy CD

The cut which has Road to Cree, John Egan's and Sara Hobbs. I'm trying to figure if John Egan's on this cut is somewhere on line already. It seems to be a different tune than what is already on the session...not just same tune different key.

Is it John Egan the famous trombone player, and trade union stalwart?

He is on holiday at present.

John Egan was a stalwart fluteplayer of the old Dublin Pipers club. Several jigs and at least one hornpipe go by his name.

And he was originally from Sligo and regularly played with Paul O'Shaughnessy's mother, Pearl McBride.
