Belfast!!

I'm going to be in Belfast the 29th to the 31st for sessions-- I mean an academic conference. Will any session.orgers be about? Be great craic to run into people.

try the duke of york on thursday, and the fountain bar on friday. i'm sure there's loads more but these two are handy to find in the city centre. enjoy your stay.

Wed go for the Garrick ( very near the City Hall) from 9.30
Thurs- duke of York
Fri- The Garrick 5.30 - 9. Then either The fountain or Maddens

Festivals and dissertations don't go very well together.

The Garrick session is a cracker on a Wednesday 9ish (Chichester St, by city hall) going down there today (Friday 24th 5pm) as Brian Finnegan is sitting in for tunes. Should be good.
The Duke on Thursday nights is great.
