I know i keep bangin on about it, but i am desperate to find a place, in Tullamore, to stay over the weekend of the fleadh (24th-26th). Would the fleadh office be able to find me a room? Or am I well and truely buggered as no where has a free room.
Accommodation for the fleadh is booked out every year, whether it be Tullamore, Letterkenny or wherever. Your best bet would be to look for towns near to Tullamore and try them for accommodation. Other option sleep in your car! I usually go down on the Saturday and come home on the Tuesday and find that most of the crowd leave on the Sunday/Monday night. The Monday night is the best night I think for tunes as majority of the crowd are gone and you have more comfort playing!!! Not going this year but hope to go again next year with a bit of luck!!
