Going to the Fleadh? Have nothing to do* around 4pm Saturday? I need to find someone to accompany in O18 accompaniment. Fiddle, flute, whistle, mando, pipes, doesn't matter (well, not much), and under 18 is okay. I realize that practice time will be rather limited, but what the hey!
Yes, my Sainted Mother (tm), age 92, decided that since I qualified, I had to go to Tullamore, and she would buy the plane ticket. Couldn't turn that down now, could I?
*I actually have something else to do at 4 pm on Saturday -- my other competition. However, I think both competitions are in the same building, which is an improvement over the last time I had two simulataneous competitions on opposite sides of town. Fortunately harp was over before the competition preceding bodhran had finished. (I've since been cured of bodhran.)
