Anti-Ulster sentiments on Chieftains youtube blog - help me educate please!

Some gobsh*t on the following link has a very narrowminded and archaic attitude to the north of Ireland and our traditional music never mind a completly unique grasp of geography and history. I'm a fool for letting it get to me but, jaysus, sometimes you want to.......
Any help in re-booting, sorry, re-educating this person (I can guess where he's from) would be very welcome.

I wouldn't bother. It's a wind up. If you try to turn this into a reasoned argument, you'll only give the fool credibility.

I don't think any "re-educating" of anyone is actually going to happen on YouTube, especially not in a forum where everybody resorts to name-calling to make their point.

That makes us look tame here - or at least civilised. For which I'm glad. Don't bother answering the knob back - that's exactly what he (I presume he) wants.

I think you summed it up well there Georgi. I also think that you have compromised yourself iwerzon by stooping to his level. Thank goodness for moderators.

Was that Neil Hannon from Divine Comedy on the fiddle?

Didn't actually see anything controversial, apart from the trousers.

So did I, but didn't like to mention it, and Molloy was doing his Dow impression, glowering at him.

I looked to me as though the other posters on the site did a pretty good job of straightening the guy out.

I'm having enough trouble just learning to play the fiddle. Now this guy comes along playing AND dancing all the while wearing the most gosh-awful pair of pants I've ever seen on a male of our species!!

Regarding the fool stirring up the political issues...fag e! It's not worth the stress. Although, it never ceases to amaze me that these "26 and 6" eejits mostly originate on my side of the pond and they NEVER seem to understand that fully 1/2 of Ulster is in the republic and that the fastest growing gaeltacht (by some estimates) is actually in NI.....

Leave the jerk alone....you'll only anger yourself!

If that is where ITM is heading, I want out NOW. The ridiculous shiny outfit, the going off the tune into quasi-bluegrass and/or quasi-jazz sh*te...gives me a headache. Just look at Sean Keane sitting there playing the TUNE, pure class.
