Music course in Ballyfermot collage Dublin

Caidé mar ata sibh
I'm doing the music course in Ballyfermot in september hopefully but theirs a problem I can't get a grant. I tried the VEC in dublin but they said because I'm in the north that it would have to go through student finance here, but according to them they don't fund anyone studying in dublin. I tried FÁS
aswell but to no avail.
Does anyone know where I could get a grant to cover the cost of accommodation and living there? Is any of you who done the course from the north? any advice would be greatly appreciated

Try South Dublin County Council also known as SDCC. They give out third level grants but you will have to move fast.

Is that Kylemore college in Ballyfermot? I'm very close to the college and will be doing music for the leaving cert in September. Might see you there. I've no idea about grants though, sorry.

Try the Music Course in Colaiste Stiofain Naofa in Cork, Might be full by now but look up www.csn.ie and check out grants. I know that we give grants to people from all over Eastern Europe so why not the UK.
