Re: Critiques Wanted...

I suspect you just want fame rather than critiques. More! More! I especially love how you play the chords.

Can't believe you're only 14. You could play the highland slightly better though. Lovely tunes from the playing of Dermott Byrne.

Re: Critiques Wanted...

Now you all know why I never posted any tapes or whatever of my playing. I do not need to hear what I already know.

Re: Critiques Wanted...

Outstanding! Congratulations to you, and to your teacher as well--he must enjoy having such a good student.

And nice work figuring out the computer stuff too. Now we can say that we heard your playing back in 2007, before you got famous.

Re: Critiques Wanted...

What!. You're fourteen and you can play like that?! Get lasht!. Fair play, beautiful stuff, would enjoy playing with you. Just for talk's sake, is there an argument to hit the beat harder. Just a thought, because you are playing Donegal tunes which need that. Currently I am open to the opposite criticism because I am trying to learn a lot of Connemara tunes, probably closer to what you are used to and I am struggling to find where to put the beat.

Fair play now, surely

Re: Critiques Wanted...

Hi Pol

Just wondering about the connamara tunes. If you come across a tune called Joe Mhaire Mhicilin I would very much appreciate notes or what ever format its played in. I have requested it several times. Its normally played with the silver spear. Thanks
