There's quite a few sessions - Irish at The Trafalgar in Douglas on Tuesdays and at The Mitre in Ramsey on Fridays. Manx music is played at The Whitehouse, Peel on Saturdays and there's Manx/Irish/English at The Tynwald Inn, St Johns on Fridays.
Also, starting Thursday 12th July there are weekly traditional music/dance concerts (free!) at The Villa Marina, Douglas at 7.30 pm.
Our Celtic Festival, Yn Chruinnaght, is from 18 to 22nd July, mainly in Peel. The programme's not on the website yet, but I know there's a ceili on Sat 21st and bands from different Celtic countries on all nights.

Good Morning All
We're heading off to the Isle of Man for a few days in July. Does anyone know what the traditional music scene is like there?
Thanks in advance

Re: TM on Ellen Vannin
I merely believe there is one. In 1981(!) I met someone from there who played something or other and was learning Manx.
