IS this the same Walton family as the one that used to run a couple of music shops in Dublin. They used to have a Saturday morning radio program that had a recurring promotion that said "if you are going to sing a song, sing an Irish one". This was a long time ago but it stuck in my head.
I always thought that a bit odd - sounds like somone saying he'd wish you didn't sing at all.
Waltons school of music
Waltons school of music
Has anyone gone for lessons here and what are your experiences?
Thanks

Re: Waltons school of music
It was alright except for all that "G'night Bobby-Joe", "G'night Granpa" stuff late at night.

Hi Donough,
Same crowd only 10x bigger than they used to be in Dublin still and cleaning up.

I think the slogan of The Walton's Programme was: " If you feel like singing, sing an irish song!"

I've been going there for a couple of years for Fiddle lessons - started with a group initially then doing solo ones.
Can't complain at all really, definitely would recommend some of the staff there.
