Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

bb and I were listening to this the other day at her place, and we think you're great. I hope you're very successful. I love the laidback vibe of your tunes. Do you have a website/CD etc?

Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

Lovely tunes Breandan. What is the name of the jig by Lawrence Montague - the first one of the set - I can't quite make out what you call it. It's played at the Herschell session in Slough quite lot at the moment, and it would be nice to put a name to it!

Not that I'm suggesting you're incomprehensible or anything!

Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

The Cat's Meow, by Joannie Madden. LM is who he learnt it off, if I heard it correctly... which I quite possibly didn't. Not that I'm suggesting you're incomprehensible either, Breandan)

Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

By the time you've learnt it, they'll be playing something else. My tips for next week:

Cat's Miaow down 5 points
Wing Commander Donald Mackenzie's up 3
Dan Breen's up 1

If you want any more, you'll have to subscribe to my newsletter.

Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

I've already absorbed half the notes at the session, I shall now learn the rest in time for the tune to be removed from the approved list.

Re: Wee tunes on Youtube

Needs a bodhran, Brendan, but you would have to pay my fare to your neck of the woods.

Does Padge still play anything?
