From what ive heard around the dublin folk scene, the beer mats are not exactly a folk group. In fact, when i mentioned their name to a veteran of the scene once, he laughed and walked away
They've probably already got it, but by asking the question here they get someone else to give the band publicity and post the link to make the band look more "talked about". Me, cynical? Nah. I've never heard (of) the band before, so can't judge, but Fergal's comment made me chuckle.
Well I was given one of there cd's and it does exactly what it says on the tin! I use it as a beer mat! When i pushed it into the cd player the cd player pushed it back out!!!
