Right, I was nosying at events in Leicester and I saw this one which I have heard of from leaflets at other festivals.
So, since the website is so unforthcoming I've got a few questions if anyone can answer them.
1. Sessions! Where, when, do I have to have a ticket to get into them or are they in local pubs?
2. I'm a poor ickle student, do you know if students can get in cheap? I'm prepared to work if I can get a free ticket!
3. What's the festival set up? Is it kind of a small Cambridge style thing and where do they actually put it? The grounds of De Montfort Hall are really small- do they spread out onto Vicki Park?
One of my sisters went to this last year, as she lives almost next door. It's a mini-Cambridge type affair. Camping was over the road and all the music was in the hall itself, or in a couple of stages out in the gardens. Sessions were mostly in the marquee they'd put up to give some shade to little kids and the beer tent.
Suspect you're probably best phoning De Montfort Hall for question 2.
