help/information about a banjo i have just bought

hi, ive just bid on abanjo on ebay, because i recently broke my banjo, and need a replacement untill mine is repaired. its a "del oro", has any one heard of "del oro" any information would be really appreciated, as i stupidly bid on this item, without even knowing what it plays like. i wouldnt usually buy an instrument without playing it, but i panicked as i have a big gig coming up. thanks.

If its the one with donald duck transfer and betty boop transfer on the skin head it looks like terrible rubbish

What part of the country are you in. Sure it only takes a day to get an item from Ballycastle to Kilarney & less to get it paid for, & 3 days for most of Engl. mainalnd

That looks sh*t. If its the one with the stickers. Sure, by the time u receive it, get the tuner peg replaced, bridge fitted properly, nut replaced, ur own banjo will probably be ready.... and id imagine ur big gig will be well gone.

For $79 you can't go too wrong. The case is worth $50.

It is a cheap modern banjo and you will have to do a little work on it, that's all.

Don't bid any higher, though <G>
